Austin Locke is Chief Information Officer for ShareBuilders and Efficio. After graduating from the University of Arizona summa cum laude with a degree in computer engineering, Austin worked as a network administrator for Raytheon. In 2000, he officially joined the newly minted ShareBuilders. Company founder Don Locke once described Austinā€™s joining the family business as ā€œa bear going into hibernation and emerging in the spring with completely re-coded software.ā€ Suffice it to say that Austinā€™s early and ongoing contributions to both ShareBuilders and Efficio have been substantial. When heā€™s not being a metaphorical code writing bear, Austin is an active member of the Rotary Club of Peoria and participates in the annual St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Run. He also enjoys traveling, 3D printing, the occasional game of volleyball or basketball, and spending time with his 8-year-old daughter Madeline.
