Alex Lopes has a diverse work experience, starting as the Founder of Sharebird in 2021. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, they worked as an Exec Recruiting Consultant, assisting growth stage and public tech companies as well as VC's in recruiting passive talent. From 2016 to 2019, Alex was the Founder of FunnelBound, which specialized in helping salespeople connect with ebook leads. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Product Management and Product Marketing at Formstack from 2013 to 2016, where they led product marketing and management for a B2B web software. Alex also founded Action Eagle in 2013, focusing on improving local government and services through partnerships and market research. Alex also worked as the Director of Market Strategy at Public Safety Medical from 2010 to 2013, responsible for marketing, sales, and product strategy. Lastly, Alex served as the Director of a non-profit organization, Torch Community, from 2008 to 2011, which aimed to support emerging talent in the Twin Cities.

Alex Lopes earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Central University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Following that, Alex pursued a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership at Bethel University from 2007 to 2008. In addition to their degrees, Alex obtained a certification in Pragmatic Marketing at Level 3 from Pragmatic Marketing institution in June 2014.
