Sahasra Akula currently serves as the Director of Outreach and Public Relations Officer at The STEAM Org, a role held since 2021. In addition, Sahasra Akula was the President and Activities Director of the Homestead Climate Change Initiative until June 2024, where responsibilities included coordinating events and generating activity ideas for club members. From April 2021 to September 2023, Sahasra Akula held dual positions as Co-President and Vice President of the Homestead Chemistry Club. An alumna of Homestead High School (2020-2024), Sahasra Akula is pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz, starting July 2024.
