Project Manager at Shapiro Metals

Diane Orange has been working in project management for over ten years. Diane started their career at ITW Deltar Fasteners, where they were an Operational Account Leader. In this role, they were responsible for conducting cost analysis and minimum pricing for new and standard parts, as well as analyzing and reporting on tool capacity for customers. Diane was also responsible for launching a new product line for the manufacturing facility, and for all pre-production requirements for the customer.

In March 2017, Diane Orange transferred to Alliance Companies, Inc., where they took on the role of Project Manager. In this role, they were the single point of contact for the GC for all issues regarding Doors, Frames and Hardware. Diane also worked with GCs to identify and address open issues, wrote RFI’s and cost RFC’s, and facilitated ordering and delivery schedules for clients. Diane Orange was also responsible for Accounts Receivable for their book of business, which totaled $2mil.

Currently, Diane Orange is a Project Manager at Shapiro Metals.

Diane Orange holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, with a concentration in Project Management. Diane also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University in Communication, with a concentration in Public Relations, as well as a Bachelor of Arts - BA from Calvin University in General Studies.

Diane Orange works with and Randall Williams - Project Coordinator. Their manager is Ashley Tracey, Chief of Staff- Strategy & Technology. A direct report to Diane Orange is and Kammi Bell - Intern.
