Jeff McHenry began their work experience in 2005 as a Manufacturing Engineer at Johnson Controls Automotive. Jeff held this position until February 2011. In March 2011, they joined Shape Corp. as a Product Development Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Advanced Manufacturing Engineer within the same company. Jeff held this latter role from March 2011 until September 2018.

Jeff McHenry completed their education at Michigan Technological University. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2003 to 2005.
