Janae Ballingham has extensive experience in education, serving as a Physical Education Teacher for the Douglas County School District since August 2005 and as a Physical Activity Leader Trainer for SHAPE America since September 2013. Previously, Janae held positions as a Biology Teacher at South Tahoe High School and as a Physical Education/Science Teacher at South Tahoe Middle School. Notably, Janae served as past president of NAHPERD from June 2012 to May 2013. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Brigham Young University and multiple advanced degrees in Teaching and National Board Professional Teaching from National University.
