Carly Wright serves as the Vice President of Advocacy & Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at SHAPE America, a position held since January 2012. In this role, Carly manages organizational efforts surrounding equity and inclusion, oversees significant grant funding related to COVID-19, and guides strategic initiatives as a member of the senior leadership team. Prior to this, Carly held positions as Director of Advocacy and Senior Manager of Advocacy, where responsibilities included managing substantial grant funding, leading educational campaigns, and engaging with high-profile partners to enhance organizational visibility and funding. Prior experience includes a role as Program Manager at the National Association for Sport and Physical Education, where Carly developed online professional development initiatives, and an early career position as Account Executive with the Washington Wizards. Carly holds a B.A. in Communications from George Mason University.
