Charmagne Braden

Vice Principal PDMS at Shanghai American School

Charmagne Braden is currently the Vice Principal of Professional Development and Middle School Administration at Shanghai American School. Prior to their current position, they served as the Head of Teaching and Learning as well as the IB MYP/DP Coordinator at Harare International School from August 2016 to July 2019. Charmagne Braden has also worked as an Assistant Principal and previously IB MYP/DP Coordinator at Thompson School District from February 2013 to July 2016. In addition, Charmagne Braden has also been an Adjunct Instructor at Colorado State University from August 2011 to May 2013. Charmagne Braden started their teaching career as a High School Teacher at American International School Riyadh from August 2004 to July 2011 where they taught IB DP Theory of Knowledge, IB DP Self-Taught Languages, and IB DP EE. Charmagne also served as a Supervisor for World Charmagne'story, US Charmagne'story, and English. Charmagne Braden then became a Middle School Teacher at American School Foundation - Mexico City from August 2001 to July 2004.

Charmagne Braden has a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature, Charmagne'story from Illinois State University, a Master of Arts in German Language and Literature from Colorado State University, and has completed a study abroad program in German Language and Literature, Charmagne'story at The University of Bonn. Charmagne also has a certification from the Colorado Department of Education in School Principal (K-12), a certification from the Council of International Schools in CIS Peer Evaluator - CIS International Accreditation Protocol, a certification from the International Baccalaureate in IB DP Coordinator, a certification from the International Baccalaureate in IB MYP Workshop Leader and Site Visit Team Member, and a certification from the International Baccalaureate in IB MYP: Delivering the MYP Curriculum.
