Ofer Buton has a strong background in finance and accounting. Ofer started their career as an Assistant Financial Controller at "Super Parts" Kremberg brothers Ltd. in 2006. Ofer then moved on to Deloitte, where they worked as an Auditor in the Retail and Real Estate Sector for 3.5 years before transitioning to a senior tax advisor role in the International Grants and Incentives Department. In 2013, Ofer joined CEMEX as a Deputy Controller before joining Betar "Nordia" Jerusalem (Non-Profit Organization) as a Co-Founder/CFO in 2014. From 2016 to 2020, they served as a Finance Manager at Shamir Optical Industry Ltd. Currently, Ofer holds the position of Vice President Finance at Shamir Insight.

Ofer Buton completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting at the College of Management from 2005 to 2009. Ofer then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on finance from the same institution between 2013 and 2014.
