Steve Albrecht is a seasoned professional in public works and natural resource management, currently serving as the Tribal Operations Administrator and Director of Land and Natural Resources for the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community since January 2018. Previous roles include Director of Public Works for the City of Burnsville and the City of Prior Lake, as well as experience as a Project Manager at Bolton & Menk, Inc. and William R. Engelhardt Associates. Albrecht holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural-Water Resource Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned in 1994.
