In 2006, Matt started their career as a Financial Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP, where they worked on frontend systems development and FX derivatives application development. Matt remained with the company until 2013.

Following their tenure at Bloomberg LP, Matt worked as a Ruby on Rails contractor at Fairfax Media, contributing to the development of the digital subscriptions platform for Australia's leading metropolitan newspapers.

In 2014, Matt joined General Assembly as a Teaching Assistant before transitioning to a role as a Ruby on Rails contractor for JobReady Solutions. Matt played a key role in the development of various products and projects for the company.

From 2015 to 2019, Matt served as the Chief Technology Officer at Found Careers, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.

Matt's next endeavor was as the Head of Engineering at WhatsMineApp, where they oversaw the engineering team and contributed to the company's technological advancements.

In 2021, Matt joined Get Cheddar as the Head of Engineering and was later promoted to the role of Chief Technology Officer in 2022. Matt played a pivotal role in leading the engineering team and contributed to the company's growth and success.

In 2023, Matt started working at Unloan as an Engineering Manager, where they continue to utilize their leadership and technical skills.

Currently, Matt Elliott works as the Lead Software Engineer at Shadowboxer, showcasing their expertise in software engineering and technology.

Matt Elliott attended the University of Westminster from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, they obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), becoming an AWS Certified Developer - Associate in July 2022 and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in April 2022.
