Derek Brown is an accomplished executive producer and the founder of Cooper West Entertainment, recognized for producing high-quality film, television, and video content across diverse industries. Currently serving as Executive Producer at Shadow Lion since July 2023 and President of Cooper West Entertainment since January 2021, Derek brings extensive experience from previous roles, including Executive Producer at Centerline Digital where management of production and creative operations was paramount for a B2B focused agency. Prior to that, Derek held the position of Vice President of Development & Production at Red Productions, overseeing script development and the production of award-winning films. Derek began their career as a Development Intern at Voltage Pictures and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus on Electronic Media Broadcasting from Appalachian State University.
