Gavin McGillivray, CPA, currently serves as Tax Manager at Shade Tree Advisors LLC since July 2020, following a similar role at LeverPoint Management, LLC from January 2018 to July 2020, where responsibilities included tax compliance and planning within the Private Equity sector. Prior experience includes positions as Tax Consultant at both Stonepine Accounting Services and Deloitte, focusing on investment management and Private Equity services. Gavin also gained valuable experience as an intern at Deloitte and Aaronson Lavoie Streitfeld Diaz & Co., P.C. Gavin holds an MBA and MS in Accounting and Taxation from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, as well as a BS in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island.
