Andrew Landon has a work experience in the field of controls engineering. Andrew started working at JR Automation in 2016, where they held the role of an Electrical Engineering Intern. In this role, they interpreted electrical prints, reported project timelines to senior management, and developed user manuals for newly designed machines. Later, they became a Controls Engineer at JR Automation, starting in May 2018. In this position, they designed, implemented, tested, and evaluated control systems for various automated equipment and engineering solutions. Andrew also monitored and applied industry practice standards throughout the product development life cycle. Additionally, they conducted electrical and hydraulic pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, and coordinated machine debug, power-up, and validation activities. Andrew worked at JR Automation until June 2021. Currently, Andrew is employed at S&H Systems as a Controls Engineer, starting in March 2022. Andrew'sresponsibilities include monitoring compliance, working cross-functionally, and attending team meetings.
Andrew Landon holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering at Tennessee Technological University. Andrew completed their undergraduate studies from 2014 to 2018. Andrew is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they started in 2022 and is expected to complete in 2024.
