Kirsten Rice

Program Manager at SGV International

Kirsten Rice is an experienced project manager currently employed at SGV International since December 2019. Previously, Kirsten worked as a Solar Utility Developer at Solar Electric Solutions, LLC, from July 2015 to December 2019, and co-founded The Community Water Project, where involvement included converting lab research into a non-profit and constructing a biosand filtration project in Rwanda. Earlier experience includes roles as an undergraduate researcher at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, where Kirsten analyzed desalination processes, and internships at Baker Hughes, focusing on maintenance optimization in the oil and gas industry, and Wintrek Consulting Services, researching hydrogen fuel cell technology. Kirsten holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, both obtained from the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering.
