Philip Hoban has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Philip is currently working as a Client Lead at SGS since 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Manager - Project Management & Client Services at Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Ireland Ltd from 2020 to 2022. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Sanofi as a Program Lead. Earlier in their career, they worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals Ireland as a New Product Project Leader from 2014 to 2018, and as a New Product Specialist at Teva Pharmaceuticals from 2008 to 2014. Philip also briefly served as an Operations Manager at Teva Pharmaceuticals in 2003.

Philip Hoban attended Waterford Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a Diploma in Industrial Engineering. Philip later returned to the same institution from 2005 to 2007 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
