Mariya Dimitrova is a seasoned sustainability analyst with a strong background in policy and strategic development. Currently employed at SGNL Solutions, Mariya is actively involved in a project with YouTube and the Rockefeller Foundation, focusing on sustainability communication strategies. Previous experience includes serving as a policy analyst at BryceTech, where Mariya contributed to the US Department of Health and Human Services' sustainability initiatives, and working at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, where Mariya developed a novel analytical tool for sustainability strategies, earning the Gothenburg 2022 Sustainability Award. Additional roles include technical advisor for UN Volunteers in Europe and Central Asia and key informant for the Swedish Institute for Global Health Transformation. Mariya holds a Master of Public Health in Sustainability and Equity from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Sociology from St. Lawrence University, alongside ongoing Swedish language studies.
