Joseph Gentile is a seasoned professional in the field of architecture and life safety consulting, currently serving as a Senior Project Consultant at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger since June 2022, where Joseph focuses on fire and accessibility issues. As an Adjunct Faculty member at the New York School of Interior Design since August 2015, Joseph teaches building codes and aids students with studio projects. Previously, Joseph held the role of Senior Life Safety Consultant at Arup from July 2007 to July 2020, contributing to a global team to enhance building safety through the application of building codes and fire/life safety systems. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Houston, completing the degree between 2002 and 2007.
