Briana Scales has extensive experience in management and event planning within the arts and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Ensembles Manager and Ensembles Administrator at SFJAZZ since November 2021, Briana previously held the role of Executive Director at Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras from August 2019 to May 2022. Other key positions include Event Planner at Westgate Resorts and various roles at Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra, including Manager of Philanthropy and Development Manager. Briana's earlier experience includes Resource Development Manager at the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County and Development Intern at Orlando Shakespeare Theater. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Crummer Graduate School of Business, a Master's degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, and a Bachelor's degree in Music and Psychology from Kalamazoo College.
