Mayra Fuentes is an experienced payroll services professional with a robust background in managing and optimizing payroll operations. Currently serving as Director of Payroll Services at Sezzle since August 2021, Mayra has previously held the position of Senior Manager in the same department. Prior to Sezzle, Mayra dedicated over two decades to Carnival Cruise Line, where key achievements included overseeing bi-weekly payroll for over 25,000 crew members and 3,500 shoreside employees, leading payroll transformation initiatives, and ensuring compliance with various tax regulations and audits. Mayra's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University and a High School Diploma from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy.
