Avani Gireesha is a Data Science undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, with extensive experience in data analysis, project management, and outreach. Currently serving as VP of Outreach and an Industry Project Member at DataGood, Avani has contributed to environmental projects through data scraping and sentiment analysis. Previous roles include Program Management Intern at Berkeley SkyDeck, Data Science Intern at Technovation, and Data Analyst Intern at Ten Strands, where skills in data cleaning and model design were developed. As Founder and CEO of Not The End, a nonprofit focused on mental health, Avani successfully organized numerous events and training programs. Avani also gained experience in design thinking research at Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign, addressing mental health and senior citizen issues. Academic achievements include multiple associate degrees from Diablo Valley College.
