Michelle Desmond has extensive experience in human resources and education, currently serving as the HR Services and Payroll Compliance Manager at Sevita since September 2006, where responsibilities include auditing payroll documentation and ensuring compliance. Previous roles at Sevita included Senior Payroll Tax & Compliance Analyst and Payroll Compliance Coordinator. Prior to this, Michelle worked as a substitute teacher across multiple school districts, covering various grade levels and subjects, and taught high school mathematics. Early career experience includes serving as an Accounting Manager at America Live!, where payroll and accounts payables were managed. Michelle holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an Associate of Arts in Accounting Technology from Normandale Community College.
