William Lyle is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Tunnelling and Underground Space Association. Currently serving as a Senior Design Manager Pre-Construction at Severfield since May 2012, William Lyle has previously held the position of Structural Engineer at AMP Consultants from November 2002 to May 2012. William Lyle possesses substantial experience in providing design calculations and connections for a range of steel structures, from single-storey portal frames to large multi-storey buildings, and has specialized in designing light gauge steel structures, including residential units in Cape Verde. William Lyle holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland.
