Before that, Arpit served as a Technology Consultant at Qube Cinema, Inc. and Director of Product Management at ZetaLight. Arpit also has experience as a Product Design Engineer at Sundar, Inc. and Firestarter Innovations. Additionally, they worked as a Design Technologist Consultant at Geneza Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Arpit Jacob completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences between 2001 and 2005. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the certification of Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM in January 2021, as well as the certification of Product Masterclass: How to Build Digital Products from Product School in November 2020.
