Sharon Lanyon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, advocacy, and marketing. Currently serving as Group Head of Strategic Communications & Engagement at Settlement Services International since December 2018, Sharon leads a division through organizational change and growth, overseeing corporate affairs, media, crisis management, and employee engagement. Previous roles include Group Head of Advocacy, Research & Communication at the Australian Human Rights Commission, and GM of Marketing & Strategy at WesTrac Cat. Sharon has held various leadership positions in notable companies such as BlueScope Steel, Unilever, and Leo Burnett Chicago, contributing significantly to marketing and communications strategies.
