Cassie J Valarezo is an experienced Clinical Social Worker currently employed at Settlement Health since December 2021, focusing on psychotherapy for a predominantly Latinx immigrant population in East Harlem. Valarezo employs various culturally responsive therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, while also providing crisis assessments and technical assistance on trauma-informed care to clinic staff.
