Jim King has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry and facilities management. Jim started their career as a Field Service Technician at Physio Control Corp, Eli Lilly in 1982 and worked there until 1989. Jim then joined Jennie Stuart Medical Center as the Director of Facilities/Engineering in 1989 and held this position until 2011. In 2012, Jim King became the Director of Plant Operations at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights.

Jim King obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics from Chapman College in 1985. Jim later pursued a Masters in Engineering Technology from Murray State University, completing their studies from 1986 to 1988.
