Sammy Melendez II has a diverse background in quantitative finance and data analysis, currently serving as a Power Trader and Quantitative Analyst at SESCO Enterprises since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Management Intern at Uniper Global Commodities North America, a Junior Risk Analyst at MAJORITY, and a Peer Mentor at the University of Houston, where responsibilities involved tutoring computer science students and coordinating course materials. Sammy also gained experience as an eCommerce Analyst at Texas Philatelics, LLC, and as a Data Analysis Intern at GoExpedi. Sammy holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Financial Mathematics from the University of Houston, completed in 2022.
