Alberto Garcia Matachana is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in power trading, quantitative analysis, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Power Trader and Quantitative Analyst at SESCO Enterprises since May 2022, Alberto previously collaborated on research related to Adversarial Machine Learning and Byzantine-robust federated learning algorithms at Imperial College London from September 2020 to August 2021. As a Scientific Advisor at SPIKE TECHNIQUES from October 2019 to June 2021, Alberto identified client needs and proposed MVPs that informed development roadmaps for innovative AI and analytics solutions. Additionally, Alberto worked as a Deep Learning Research Scientist at Fintep, focusing on advanced algorithms for document analysis within a FinTech startup environment. Academically, Alberto holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London.
