Yves Bausch is an experienced professional in the space sector, currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Corporate Development at SES Satellites since June 1998. Bausch has played a significant role in SES' M&A activities, contributing to nearly US$2.2 billion in transactions during 2016-2020. In addition to various leadership roles within corporate development, including VP of Strategic Portfolio Development, Product Diversification, and Service Architecture, Bausch is also the General Partner Manager at the Luxembourg Space Sector Development Fund, which aims to strengthen the local space industry. Furthermore, Bausch holds a board member position at PROFINPAR and was previously involved with the Seraphim Space Global Advisory Board and the C-Band Alliance. Bausch's earlier career includes engineering and product development roles at Belgacom. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and Université catholique de Louvain.
