Fabio Alencar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the satellite communications and telecommunications industries. Currently serving as VP Regional Sales Media for SES Satellites since May 2019, Fabio also holds the position of VP Corporate Development for Latam. In addition, Fabio is the President of SINDISAT, the association of satellite communication companies, and previously served as President of Abrasat from July 2018 to June 2022. Fabio's career includes notable roles at Star One, Vizada, Inc., Comsat Internacional, Hispamar Satelites, Intelsat, and .comDominio, showcasing a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development across Latin America. Educational qualifications include a Licentiate degree in Sociology from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, and an engineering degree in Electronics from Instituto Militar de Engenharia.
