Dr. Raimondas Sasnauskas is a Senior Manager at SES Satellites, leading a Space Operations team responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of software for over 60 satellites. Previously, Dr. Sasnauskas managed the software development team for Ground Control Systems for the MEO/GEO fleet and held positions as a Senior Engineer and Engineer in Operations Architecture, focusing on the O3b mPOWER constellation and developing essential procedures. Academic experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at SnT, collaborating on code analysis and superoptimization of smart contracts, and research roles at the University of Luxembourg and the University of Utah, where Dr. Sasnauskas contributed to projects on compiler superoptimization and fuzzing Android OS. A Ph.D. graduate in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University, Dr. Sasnauskas specialized in automated test case generation for distributed systems during doctoral studies.
