Eric Hernandez has over 20 years of work experience in various technical roles. Eric started their career at Cable & Wireless Communications as a Technical Team Lead from January 2001 to March 2002. Eric then worked as a Technical Support Analyst at the International Monetary Fund from June 2002 to May 2004. In May 2004, they joined SES Government Solutions as a Systems Engineer. From the same year, they also held the position of Senior Network Manager at DRS Technologies until November 2022.

Eric Hernandez attended the University of Advancing Technology from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Software Engineering. In March 2014, they also earned a certification in Security+ from CompTIA, and in February 2014, they obtained a certification in Network+ from the same institution.
