Gabriela Perez, MA LPC-S LCDC, serves as the Clinical Director/Program Director at Serving Children and Adults in Need, Inc. since February 2007, where responsibilities include coordinating the Clinical Training Institute and providing training and clinical supervision for LCDC Interns and LPC-Associates. Previously, Gabriela held the role of Clinical Therapist and Consultant/Director at Sistema DIF Nuevo Laredo, offering clinical services to various age groups and directing a shelter for children victims of violence. Early experience includes a position as Clinical Therapist at Healthtrust, LCC, where responsibilities encompassed behavioral assessments and counseling for patients with chronic pain. Additionally, Gabriela worked as a Clinical Therapist at Dr. Guillermo E. Gonzalez’s office, providing a range of counseling services. Gabriela holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M International University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Universidad de Monterrey, and has received specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD.
