Vasant Balasubramanian has extensive experience in the fields of risk management and product development. Currently serving as Vice President and General Manager for Risk and ESG at ServiceNow since April 2019, Vasant previously held multiple senior roles within the Risk Business Unit at the same company. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Vasant was a Senior Vice President at MetricStream, where responsibilities included shaping the Governance, Risk, Compliance product strategy and roadmap. Vasant has also co-founded notable initiatives such as the Udavum Karangal Bay Area Chapter, supporting charitable efforts in India. With a solid technical foundation as a co-founder and Chief Architect/CTO at InterWeave Tech and experience as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Cadence Design Systems, Vasant balances leadership in product management with a commitment to community service. Vasant holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
