Carla Smith has been working in the customer service and operations industry since 2007. Carla began their career as an Implementations Specialist at Global Payments, where they managed and distributed file and platform builds, and performed quality control on all program files. In 2013, they joined i3Verticals as a Technical Support Level III, where they researched escalations providing feedback with resolutions and created a technical support knowledge base. In 2016, they became an Admissions Counselor at CEI Barber and Cosmetology School, where they contacted prospects through phone, email, and other means to set campus tours, and provided incoming students with admissions requirements. In 2017, they joined eVance Inc. as an Operations Lead, responsible for client communications regarding setup, pricing, chargebacks, and need for additional products or services. Currently, they are a Client Success Manager at serviceminder.io.
Carla Smith completed their education history with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro between 1990 and 1993. Prior to that, they attended Montreat College from 1988 to 1989, where they studied Biology but did not receive a degree. Carla began their educational journey in 1984 at Walter M Williams High School.
