Todd Richardson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Todd began their career at The Hartford in 2001 as a Personal Lines Sales Representative and later became a Middle Market Sales Underwriter. In 2008, they joined State Auto Insurance where they held various roles including Middle Market Account Executive, Middle Market Manager, Regional Vice President for Middle Markets, and ultimately Regional Vice President for Business Insurance. In 2016, Todd joined Service Lloyds Insurance Company as the Business Development Manager for Underwriting, where they developed and implemented strategic underwriting plans and led a team of business development specialists and outside vendors. Todd later became the Director of Underwriting and then the Vice President of Underwriting. Todd's expertise lies in underwriting, marketing, claims, and loss prevention.
Todd Richardson graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1987 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. Todd earned the CPCU (Charter Property and Casualty Underwriter) certification from an institution called the Charter Property and Casualty Underwriter in December 2015. In January 2010, they obtained the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) certification. Lastly, they obtained the CPCU in Good Standing certification from The Institutes in March 2020.
