Tom Strachan has a diverse work experience in the investment and entrepreneurial growth equity sectors. Tom is currently the Founder and CEO of Service Buddy, an as-yet-to-be-launched venture. In 2022, they worked as an Investor at Blue Star Innovation Partners, focusing on payment processing, go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions. Before that, they worked as an Investor at Cove Hill Partners, a private equity firm that builds market-leading consumer and technology companies. Tom has also worked as a Senior Associate at Greater Sum Ventures, an entrepreneurial growth equity firm that invests in lower-middle market tech. At Turbonomic, they held various sales positions and helped grow and scale the commercial business unit.

Tom Strachan graduated from Bentley University in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Prior to attending Bentley, they completed their high school education at Xaverian Brothers High School, where they did not receive a degree or study a specific field. In 2019, Tom obtained a Basic Keelboat Certification from US Sailing.
