Vil Surkin has a diverse work experience in the field of cloud computing. Vil began their career as a System Administrator at Oblyachnyy Hosting Clodo.ru in 2011 and worked there until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Cloud System Administrator at Webzilla. In 2015, Vil joined Servers.com and held various roles including Cloud System Administrator, Head of Cloud Department, and currently serves as the Head of Research and Development Department since November 2019.

Vil Surkin attended Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia from 2008 to 2013. During this time, they pursued a degree in "Информационные технологии" (Information Technology) and graduated with the title of "Специалист" (Specialist).
