Girish Menon

Chief Operations Officer at Seros

Girish Menon has over 30 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Girish started their career at Essar Oil, where they held various positions as a Rig Manager, Tool Pusher, and more. Girish implemented processes and management methods for optimization in drilling operations.

Girish then worked at John Energy Ltd. as an Area Manager before joining ReedHyclog, a Schlumberger company, as a Senior Service Engineer. In this role, they were in charge of all the business aspects of Schlumberger India & Oman and oversaw IMP projects for Hardy Offshore drilling campaign.

Girish later joined Smith Bits International as a Country Manager, where they handled sales, tenders, and performance testing of new technology drill bits. Girish significantly increased revenue from $750K to $11 million within five years.

Girish then worked at Schlumberger as a District Operations Manager and Geo Market Sales Manager, responsible for driving sales and integrating product lines after a merger. Girish also established the DT&R product line in the Algeria region.

Before their current role as the Head of Operations at Seros, Girish served as the Chief Operating Officer at SK PETRO, where they managed sales, business development, and all personnel-related issues. Girish introduced ISO systems, established safe working methods, introduced new oil rigs, and established client interfaces.

Throughout their career, Girish has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence in the oil and gas industry.

Girish Menon attended the University of Mumbai from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a field of study in Engineering Mechanics. After that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General, from NIBM Institute. Additionally, they have an IMS Certification, but no further information is available about the institution or the year they obtained it.
