Mark Pearl is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently, Mark serves as the Head of Engineering for Platform at Serko Ltd., where responsibilities include overseeing a large engineering group and contributing to the company’s senior leadership. Previously, Mark held multiple roles at Serko, including Head of Engineering for Travel & Platform, where leadership extended to over 200 engineers across various countries. Prior to joining Serko, Mark was a Development Manager at MYOB, where Mark designed and implemented a comprehensive training program for tech graduates. Mark's career also includes significant contributions at Driven Software, Maxima Software, and early roles as a Junior Programmer at Vortex and Usko. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and Computer Science from the University of South Africa and a High School Diploma from Hillcrest High School KZN.
