Tiro Tamenti currently serves as the General Manager at Seriti Resources for the New Vaal Colliery, a position held since May 2020. Prior to this role, Tiro held several management positions at Anglo American Coal, including Technical Services Manager and Mining Manager at the Zibulo Colliery, where responsibilities encompassed underground, opencast, and technical projects. Tiro's experience also includes positions as Section Manager at various collieries and Mine Overseer at New Vaal Colliery. Tiro began the career as a Graduate in Training, acquiring valuable hands-on experience in mining operations. Tiro Tamenti holds an Executive MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, a Programme for Management Excellence from GIBS Business School, and a BSc in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
