Elisabeth Baum-Jones has seven years of work experience. Elisabeth began their career in 1997 as a Research Laboratory Technician at Hospital São Lucas. Elisabeth then moved to The Scripps Research Institute as a Laboratory Technician in 2000. In 2001, they took on a role as a Research Technician at San Diego Zoo Global. From 2007 to 2012, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine. During this time, they also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they conducted analysis of antibody responses to plasmodia using protein microarrays to identify serological correlates of disease immunity and age-related immunity acquisition in malaria. Elisabeth then moved to Millennium Health as a Research and Development Scientist - Microbial Genetics in 2016. Most recently, they have been a Senior Product Development Scientist at SerImmune Inc. since 2018.
Elisabeth Baum-Jones obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Microbiology and Host Immune Response from UC Irvine between 2006 and 2011. Elisabeth also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Unisinos between 1994 and 1999.
