Salman Mukhi has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering. Salman is currently serving as the Founding Data Engineer at Serif Health since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at GoodRx where they held the positions of Manager, Data Engineering from July 2022 to June 2023, and Senior Data Engineer II from June 2021 to July 2022. Before joining GoodRx, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Nuna Inc. from September 2020 to June 2021.

Salman also has experience working at Sense Corp, where they served as a Consultant / Data Engineer from May 2019 to September 2020. In this role, they led the technical scoping and implementation of data pipelines for multiple client projects, utilizing various tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, Oracle, and more. Prior to Sense Corp, they worked at Nuna Inc. as a Data Engineer from May 2017 to May 2019, where they developed data pipelines and wrote ETL code primarily using SQL and occasionally Scala.

Earlier in their career, Salman worked at The Advisory Board Company as a Senior Business Analyst from September 2015 to April 2017, managing data extraction and transformation projects and serving as a technical contact for hospital EMR systems. Salman also worked at Accruent as a Support Engineer from September 2014 to September 2015, resolving technical issues for end-users of the TMS Application at hospitals nationwide.

Salman's work experience also includes serving as a Resident Adviser at Vanderbilt University from August 2011 to May 2013, where they provided programming and support for first-year students, fostered a sense of community, and managed administrative tasks.

Salman Mukhi received their High School Diploma from L.V. Hightower High School in the years 2006 to 2010. Salman then pursued and completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Vanderbilt University from 2010 to 2014. In 2019, Salman obtained a certification as a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer from Google. Currently, they are enrolled in the Georgia Institute of Technology, pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analytics, which they are expected to complete between 2020 and 2023.
