Joseph MacDonald CEng is an experienced Subsea Operations Engineer currently working at Serica Energy plc since December 2018, where responsibilities include managing subsea activities, defining OPEX, and ensuring the integrity and availability of subsea assets. Previous experience includes roles at BP from September 2012 to November 2018, focusing on the Bruce, Keith, and Rhum assets and participation in the ETAP and Shah Deniz 2 projects. Joseph gained initial experience as a Saltire Foundation Intern at GE Wind in 2011. Academic qualifications include an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, completed in 2012, following education at Kirkwall Grammar School.
