Matthew Henn has extensive experience in the fields of microbiome research and drug discovery, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer at Seres Therapeutics since June 2012. Henn's expertise is further showcased through roles on the Scientific Advisory Boards of Growcentia, Inc. and Life Sciences Cares, where Henn has been a member of the Board of Advisors since November 2021. Previous positions include leadership roles at the Broad Institute and The Forsyth Institute, as well as academic appointments at Duke University and the University of California, Berkeley. Henn holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Ecosystem Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of New Hampshire.
