Kayla O'Connor is an experienced bioprocess engineer currently serving as Engineer II at Seres Therapeutics since June 2021, where responsibilities include executing bioreactor experiments and cross-functional collaboration in R&D and Manufacturing. Previously, Kayla held roles as Engineer I at Seres Therapeutics and as a Laboratory Technician at Bradford Soap Works. Prior internships include work at BASF, Fraunhofer IST, and FM Global, focusing on engineering, data analysis, and risk improvement projects. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature from the University of Rhode Island, along with experience at Technische Universität Braunschweig.
