Max Shand has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and industries. Max is currently the Founder & CEO of Serenade, an eco-friendly music NFT marketplace. Prior to this, Max was the Founder & Investor of Strangelove Investments, where they provided early-stage technology companies with strategic capital. Max also worked as a Writer for Fairfax Media, The Quietus, PopMatters, and HappyMag, specializing in music and history content. Max's previous roles include Management Consultant at Oliver Wyman, Vice President at FBi Radio, and 1st employee at Afterpay Touch, an Australian FinTech company. Max also served as the Program Coordinator for the INCUBATE Startup Program and founded both The Rug Shop and That's Vint.

Max Shand completed their secondary education at Sydney Grammar School from 2010 to 2013. Max then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) degree at the University of Sydney from 2015 to 2018, with a focus on Finance and History. In addition to their formal education, Max obtained the certification of being a speaker at #NFTNYC2021 from NFT.NYC in November 2021.
