Steve Jia is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Partner and Head of Buyout at Sequoia Capital China since August 2020. Prior to this role, Steve Jia held the position of Managing Director in M&A at J.P. Morgan from June 2009 to July 2020. Steve Jia's career also includes engineering roles at Motorola and Chartered Semiconductor, where impactful contributions were made between 2004 and 2007. Academic achievements include an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of Science in Computation from Singapore-MIT Alliance, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
