Simran Handa has a diverse work experience. In 2020, they were a Business Operations Manager and Chief Of Staff at Sequin Financial, Inc. (YC S21). Simran also worked as a Product Manager and Data Business Operations with more than 6 startups. In 2021, they were the Vertical Lead at entreprenher, creating India's first accelerator for female student founders, and was a Builder's Community at CMU Tech & Entrepreneurship. Simran was a Product Manager at nteract in 2020 and a Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Teaching Assistant - Critical AI Studies in Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University in 2019. Simran also worked as a Researcher for Dr. Jerome White, Wadhwani AI, and as a Podcaster for CMU Indian Graduate Student Association. In 2019, they were a Technology Research Intern at Sands Point Consulting.

Simran Handa completed their B.Sc. Economics from Shiv Nadar University in 2018. Simran then pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management with a concentration in PhD. Level Economics and Data Analytics from Carnegie Mellon University, which they completed in 2020. In the same year, they also obtained a Certificate in Entrepreneurship Essentials, Complete from Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications, Digital Media and Marketing Principles from Coursera in September 2020 and Gamification & Behavioral Design: The Octalysis Framework from Udemy in May 2020.
